A rather lazy Thanksgiving Weekend

It's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, which means I get a 3 day weekend.  Yah!

I admit that I've had a rather lazy one.  I could have gone hiking, but I chose to hang around town.  I'm not really going anywhere for dinner, but I've made up a nice dinner for me and the birds tonight.

This weekend has been a fun work weekend for me.  I've spent many fun hours creating a photo book at Shutterfly.com for upcoming Christmas presents.  I hate Christmas shopping but I think that these make the perfect personal gift!  I made my Dad one last year that featured the bike trip and other stuff.  This year I've made one up about my Summer Bike adventures, posting some of the stuff from my blog into the book.  I'm so excited about doing this.

I've also been working on the Rambler's slideshow.  I have been creating one for them for their annual Autumn AGMs for the last few years as they just love them!  I also love creating those.  Finding the music is a great joy.  I've posted last year's video that I created, it's somewhere in my links.  I'll post this year's one when it's completed and I've shown at at the AGM in November.

Squirt enjoys the fresh air too

Even though I didn't want to leave the computer (and look at me now, back here again!) I did manage to pull myself away from it and go for a small bike ride on the lane near here.  And I took a few photos.  A bit of fresh air can't be bad for you!

So here I am now, ready for my dinner.  I've got one more day to sleep in, relax, catch up on Fringe (tv show) and work on slideshow/photobook.  Sounds great to me!
